Product Overview
Impulse designed and produced 950 x permanent FSDU’s for the Candyking range of sweets in One-Stop convenience stores. The construction is sheet steel, with applied vinyl branding, welded assembly for ease of installation in store.
Long Term Durability
The brief was to create a permanent display, designed to withstand high traffic areas within the One Stop convenience stores. Impulse is proud to be able to guarantee longevity with the use of metal, which compared with cardboard, will last much longer.
The units offer a powder coated paint finish, which increases durability, and is easy to maintain in store. Products are easily shopped, an important aspect in these units which attract impulse purchase.
Testimonial
Chris Hobbs Marketing & Services Director Cloetta UK Ltd
“We worked with Impulse to develop a bespoke unit for our CandyKing Favourites collection of pre-filled tubs. Mark and the team were a patient supplier, dealing with every small change and adjustment with, no doubt, a deep breath and a smile. We and our customer One-Stop are really pleased with the end creation, which we’ve placed across the estate and is showing great sales growth for us”.
“Nothing beats the presence of a strong Freestanding Display unit, whether it be permanent, or a cardboard temporary FSDU, we have designed it to suit your needs and either dispatch, made up and ready for the shop floor, or in KD / Flat Pack format to be built up in store. Graphic areas are there to enhance with strong branding and information around the product range being displayed.”
Our take...Impulse POP
Candyking was founded in 1984 and is owned by Cloetta.
Candyking (known as Karamellkungen in Sweden) is a Swedish company that markets pick and mix confectionery in Finland, Norway, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Demark, the UK and Ireland.
The company was later bought by Cloetta in 2017 and is now the leading supplier of pick & mix in Europe, having CandyKing as the leading pick & mix brand in the Nordic region and the UK.
The company’s largest retail outlet, Woolworths Group, went into administration in November 2008, and all shops later closed. Since then, their biggest outlet is now Tesco. United Kingdom cinema chains Cineworld and Odeon are also a major outlet of the company, stocking its pick and mix booths at all of its sites. Other prominent outlets of the company include Wilko, Poundland, Asda, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and WHSmith.
