Impulse designed a Sugru Gondola Add-On Display to fit onto existing gondolas.
The display was made from printed PETG which shrouds a metal carcass, the advantage of the flexibile PETG material means the substrate is forgiving when knocked into. Not only is it less likely to be a health and safety problem, it is less likely to break.
The display protrudes into the aisle a little which disrupts the shopper to engage in an impulsive purchase.
The world’s first multi-purpose mouldable glue that sets strong by turning into a durable, flexible silicone rubber. Waterproof, Durable & Flexible Mouldable Glue. Perfect For Even The Trickiest Of Repairs. When Tape, Screws, Nails & Ordinary Glues Just Can’t. Sugru Does.
“Parasite displays or secondary site displays are smaller-sized placements mounted (hung or screwed on) on previously installed displays, gondolas, tools. The main purpose of this tool is to highlight the brand and store a couple of products.”
Our take...Impulse POP
The idea for Sugru was developed by Jane Ní Dhulchaointigh from Kilkenny, Ireland. Ní Dhulchaointigh studied product design as a post-graduate research student at the Royal College of Art, where she conceived the idea for the substance in 2003 while using mixtures of standard silicone sealants and sawdust in her work.
