OK!- they are not all for ImpulsePOP and their award winning display team (although they could be!) but more about what we have been viewing this past weekend at the National Running Show in Birmingham.
At Impulses’ head office, there are a few of us who enjoy running both as a fun and (sometimes very serious…) hobby and what a fantastic show to visit, with so many great companies and brands at the Show this year.
The show catered for everyone at whatever level you are at and covered product groups that included, events planning, charity and support organisations, energy drinks, snacks, health and nutrition plans and food supplements as well as a wide array of brands in the accessories, eyewear, shoes, socks, hats, drinks bottles and running apparel markets.
Impulse have worked with some great brand names in this fast (sic!) growing market, including Dare2B, Nike and Nairns to name but a few…
With fabulous creative podiums, counter display and freestanding units that we have produced over the years for these and other clients, we have built up a really good knowledge of what does and doesn’t work and what really attracts the consumers’ attention in the world of merchandising and display in the running and sports goods market in the UK and the rest of Europe.
The distribution profile for the products that are now available in this sector is wide ranging. There is, of course, a large and growing online market, but where the consumer education and interaction really comes into its own is in the gyms, fitness centres and outdoor store retailers as well as the traditional and highly professional sports retail, pharmacists and health store retail sites.
